Phoenix and Flagstaff are just over an hours drive away, with shuttle service available to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Prescott Municipal Airport provides airline service, making the area easily accessible by road or air. Prescott ValleyPrescott Valley is located about 80 miles northwest of Phoenix. Chino Valley is nestled comfortably in the mountains of central Arizona, 15 miles north of Prescott, at an elevation of 4,750 feet. Chino Valley has a mild climate and a gentle four seasons. Chino Valley's population growth rate from 1990 to 1995 was 29%. Current town residents number approximately 8,000. Embry Riddle Aeronautical University is the world's largest university specializing in Aviation and Aerospace Education. Student enrollment is approximately 5,000 students and is organized on a K-5 (5 elementary schools), 6-8 (2 middle schools) and 9-12 (1 high school).
